Experience Your Console at Full Speed
The PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are all built for 4K at 120fps — but that performance only reaches your screen if the cable between them can carry it. A standard HDMI 2.0 cable silently caps your console at 4K/60Hz and disables Variable Refresh Rate entirely, causing screen tearing in the games where it matters most. Zyron's HDMI 2.1 cable 2m carries the full 48Gbps the spec requires, so VRR, ALLM, and 4K at 120fps all work exactly as your console intended.
Every Spec Your Setup Has Been Waiting For.
The Zyron HDMI 2.1 cable 2m delivers the full 48Gbps Ultra High Speed specification — covering 8K at 60Hz, 4K at 240Hz at 1080p for competitive gaming. HDR10+ and 12-bit colour depth give your TV richer contrast and a wider colour palette. eARC carries lossless Dolby Atmos to your soundbar over a single cable. The best HDMI 2.1 cable for PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Google TV Streamer, and high-refresh gaming monitors.
Built to Last — Premium Construction From Connector to Cable
Most cables fail at the connector or the bend point — not this one. Zyron's HDMI 2.1 cable 2m features a premium aluminium metal plug that resists corrosion and daily wear, a reinforced stress-relief joint that prevents breakage at the most common failure point, and 48-strand nylon braiding that keeps the cable flexible and tangle-free through years of heavy use.
One Cable. Every Screen. Every Device.
The Zyron HDMI 2.1 cable 2m works across every HDMI-equipped device in your home — PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, 8K and 4K TVs, high-resolution gaming monitors, Blu-ray players, home theatre projectors, and laptops. Fully backwards compatible with HDMI 2.0 and 1.4, so it works on older devices too while being ready for everything current-gen.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before buying our HDMI 2.1 cable 2m.
Does PS5 need an HDMI 2.1 cable?
Yes — if you want the full PS5 experience. The PS5 is capable of 4K at 120fps and supports VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), but both of these features require an HDMI 2.1 cable. Using an older HDMI 2.0 cable limits you to 4K at 60fps and disables VRR entirely. The cable in this listing is exactly what PS5 needs to run at full performance. See our full guide on choosing the best HDMI cable for PS5 in Australia.
What is the difference between HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 2.1?
The key difference is bandwidth and features. HDMI 2.0 supports up to 18Gbps and maxes out at 4K @ 60Hz. HDMI 2.1 triples bandwidth to 48Gbps, enabling 4K @ 120Hz, 8K @ 60Hz, and introduces gaming features like VRR, ALLM, and enhanced audio with eARC. If you have a PS5, Xbox Series X, or a 4K 120Hz TV, HDMI 2.0 cables are bottlenecking your setup. See our full HDMI 2.1 vs 2.0 comparison guide.
Is this HDMI 2.1 cable backwards compatible with my older TV?
Completely. HDMI is fully backwards compatible — this cable works with any TV or device that has a standard HDMI Type-A port, regardless of version. If your TV only supports HDMI 1.4 or 2.0, the cable will run at that device's maximum supported speed. You won't get HDMI 2.1 features on an older TV, but the cable will work without any issues.
What does "Ultra High Speed HDMI Certified" mean?
The HDMI Forum created the "Ultra High Speed" certification specifically to distinguish genuine HDMI 2.1 cables from uncertified products that claim to support 48Gbps but fail in real-world use. Certified cables must pass rigorous independent testing. Many cheap "HDMI 2.1" cables on the market have not passed this certification and may fail to deliver the full bandwidth. Our cable carries the official Ultra High Speed certification.
How does this HDMI 2.1 cable compare to HDMI 2.2?
HDMI 2.2 doubles bandwidth again to 96Gbps and supports 4K @ 240Hz and 16K resolution. However, as of 2025, very few consumer devices support HDMI 2.2 ports. Every major current-gen device — PS5, Xbox Series X, RTX 40-series PCs, 4K OLED TVs — uses HDMI 2.1. If you want to future-proof for next-gen devices expected in 2026–2027, see our HDMI 2.2 cable 96Gbps 16K. For current devices, HDMI 2.1 is the right choice today.
Can I use this cable for my 4K projector?
Yes — if your projector has a standard HDMI Type-A input port (which most 4K projectors do), this cable will connect without issue. At 2m in length it's ideal for a desktop or short-throw projector setup. For longer projector distances, check our HDMI cables collection which includes longer lengths. The cable supports 4K HDR for projectors that accept it.
Does HDMI 2.1 support Dolby Atmos through a soundbar?
Yes — and this is one of the most important reasons to upgrade from HDMI 2.0. HDMI 2.1 introduces eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel), which carries lossless Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio back from your TV to a soundbar using a single cable. Standard ARC (available on HDMI 2.0) is not powerful enough to carry lossless Dolby Atmos — it compresses the audio. You need both an eARC-compatible TV port and an eARC-compatible soundbar, plus an HDMI 2.1 cable like this one.
Does Zyrontech ship HDMI cables to all states in Australia?
Yes — we ship across all Australian states and territories including NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA, TAS, ACT and NT. We ship from our Sydney warehouse. Standard delivery is 2–4 business days to metro areas. Free shipping applies on orders over $39.99. All orders dispatched within 24 hours.
